Norris Brown

Norris Brown is an explosive live artist who has developed growing attention and serious bonds with audiences everywhere, as his musical abilities brought him to London from Kingston St Andrews almost 30 years ago. From singing along to the likes of Dennis Brown, Luther Vandross, and Richie Stephens through his cousins’ home-built sound system to performing alongside Run Come Down across UK festival stages such as Boomtown and Kendal Calling and supporting both Beres Hammond and Tanya Stephens on stages across London and the whole UK.

Norris’ warm, distinctive Roots Reggae and Lovers Rock melodies have led to respect and support in his residence in London, Bristol, and of course his hometown of Jamaica. His accolades include his single “The System” which received serious airtime across the radio station Roots Fm in Jamaica alongside consistently selling out Bristol-based events. His impressive resume shows work with the well-known Uri Green through Yam & Banana at Attic Bar, to videos of his performances both solo and alongside Birmingham’s Global Reggae Band, showing full to burst capacity at the famous St. Pauls Carnival and One Love Jam in Bristol city.

Norris is next performing at Rumours’ in support of Tru Tryah’s album launch on November 4th.
